LOOKING AFTER THE VOLUNTEERS

The volunteers take part in 25 seminar-days. In the seminars German volunteers and those from abroad meet and share their experiences in work and life.

Hosting organization - IJGD - visit the volunteers at the projects at least once a year. When a conflict arises we organize crisis intervention.

From our side TFP will support volunteer during his/her social year abroad. We’ll keep contact all time.

CONDITIONS FOR THE PROGRAMME

  • The volunteers are between 18 and 26 years old.
  • Participants are willing to engage as volunteers rather than finding a job.
  • The volunteers need basic knowledge of German language.
  • The volunteers should enjoy getting in contact with other people.

NOTE! The best time for us - TFP as sending organization and IJGD as hosting organization to receive the applications is January to March, 15th.

This gives us enough time to find suitable projects.

We hope we have provided all the essential information about the FSJ.
