“Together For Peace” (TFP) is new Russian young and developing non-profit, non-governmental voluntary organization.

The initiative group as a separate body started to work in 2004. And TFP was officially registered in 2005. The head office of organization is based in Moscow now.

Motto of TFP is CHANGE YOURSELF, CHANGE THE SOCIETY AND CHANGE THE WORLD.

The main activity includes the society-orientated programs, performed by the young people aged 18-30, the youth international cultural exchanges as a tool to promote understanding between young people of the world and the volunteer service particularly in Russia.

For the recent moment four main guidelines of TFP have been chosen: social activity, peace-making, ecology and art as a tool for self -discovery and cultural understanding.

Main fields of activity are:

• Organize international short- and long-term voluntary projects in Russia and send Russian volunteers to those abroad;
• Participates in EVS program as sending and hosting organization;
• Organize and run youth and cultural exchanges of different kinds, study visits with various themes for youth foreign groups in Russia and for Russians abroad;
• Training and seminar activities on non-violent conflict resolution and youth leadership/project facilitation;
• Joint events with socially disadvantaged people (e.g. handicapped, orphans);
• Weekend workcamps, trainings for youth in social adaptation of handicapped;
• Take part in the international conferences, seminars, training and youth activities abroad and organize those in Russia.

The main aim of all our activities towards developing better world – more open, more fair, more balanced society of creative individuals, perceiving themselves as living single whole.

TFP is open for everyone who wants to become a member of the organization. Everybody who shares our principles is welcome to join us!

We are open to contacts and partnership and are really eager to launch joint projects with organizations that are working in the same field as we do or would help us to broad our scopes.
